Um total de 68 edifícios foram restritamente selecionados para o 2016 RIBA London Awards, inclusive projetos dos escritórios John McAslan + Partners, dRMM Architects, Níall McLaughlin Architects, Eric Parry Architects e Rogers Stirk Harbour. Todos os edifícios finalistas serão visitados e cuidadosamente avaliados por quatro jurados locais e os vencedores regionais serão contemplados para o RIBA National Award. Os finalistas do RIBA Stirling Prize - concedido ao o melhor edifício do ano do Reino Unido - serão os vencedores do RIBA National Award.
